Orla Kiely summer 2013

Orla Kiely has released their summer look book and it’s looking very lovely, colourful and inspiring! A dreary March Monday when the temperature suddenly has dropped to 10 below zero again, it’s just what I needed to get through the day.

Bric a Brac spring 2013

As usual Swedish design brand Bric a Brac makes amazing photo shoots for their new catalogue, with lots of dreamy outfits. For some reason they don’t seem to stock their webshop with all items though, but maybe it will be re-stocked during the season. Their outlet section also has some super nice finds, if you care to look.

Beci Orpin’s brilliant design

Beci Orpin is a textile and graphic designer and artist from Melbourne, Australia. I really love her mostly colourful and playful style, and her ability to make prints that feels completely original even though sometimes using something as trivial as balloons. That is what design should be all about, in my humble opinion. There are also some rather fabulous items for sale in her online shop. I have huge crush on this raincloud necklace.

Jumperfabrikens sneak peak of spring news

Jumperfabriken has only revealed a small part of their spring news, but I really like what I see so far. Lovely candylike colours that promises sunshine and summer sometime in the future!

I don’t really see myself as an Anthropologie woman, yet. But somehow I sort of picture myself wearing these types of clothes with ease in maybe 10 years from now. For now I am happy just picturing that future self.

I have already done some nice finds on this year’s winter sale, but if I could afford to do lots more I would certainly consider some pieces from the current Orla Kiely sale. I am also looking forward to seeing the spring and summer collection!
