Thrive Home Furnishings’ amazing Mid Century style

Found here.

Thrive Home Furnishings is an American furniture company dedicated to producing absolutely stunning Mid Century Design pieces, and they’re also Eco Friendly, offers free shipping within USA, and a 365 day return policy. Sounds pretty good to me! Now, if only I lived in USA, had a huge house that needed decorating and an unlimited budget to do it ... Lucky I love just looking and dreaming which costs absolutely nothing!

Here are all the beautiful news from Penguin Classics English Library in October 2012! All brilliantly made by genius Coralie Bickford-Smith, as always. And I read in a newsletter they are releasing some of these covers as notebooks before christmas, excellent!

Sweet Bestiary’s adorable wearable art

Found here.

Sweet Bestiary is an Etsy shop with beautiful handmade jewellery and tiny sculptures. The talented lady behind it is Flor Panichelli, originally from Argentina but now living in London, England. You can see more old items on her website, the last picture in this post I found there and don’t they just look adorable all together? Originally found via this post.

more lovely 70’s finds from Etsy

Found here.

I can’t believe October is almost over! What happened with this fall? This Saturday we up North enter daylight saving mode, supposedly “saving” one hour of daylight in the morning, but losing one in the early evening. Within weeks the darkness will be getting heavier and heavier by the day. Oh, well, what to do to avoid getting depressed about the inevitable? Etsy browsing of course! It will save any darkness for sure. Here’s another round of lovely 70’s gems up for grabs. Enjoy!

beautiful jewellery from Erica Weiner

Found here.

Erica Weiner is a wonderful jewellery maker based in New York, who makes vintage inspired pieces as well as sells antique gems. There are some spectacular Art Deco items I just adore, but my absolute favorites of this selection I am featuring here are the pen nib necklaces. I had a similar one as a teenager, that my dad bought for me in France, and I wore it constantly for years. Being a calligraphy enthusiast I think pen nibs are just precious.
