Etsy finds from top to toe

Found here.

I thought it couldn’t hurt with another Etsy inspirational post this week, since they are so much fun to put together! After a rather hectic week I am very much looking forward to a mostly relaxing weekend, which will include a library visit, a mexican lunch, a little bit of sewing, thai takeout, and hopefully a bunch of good movies. Enjoy the weekend everyone, September is almost upon us.

Sarah Dennis’ awesome paper art

Sarah Dennis is a brilliant British illustrator and paper artist extraordinaire. I found her via this post on Design*Sponge, and am very happy I did. There is something about paper cutting that just endlessly amazes me, and Sarah Dennis sure is a master of both the technique and beautifully intricate layered scenes. I find it fairly difficult just cutting out simple paper dolls and their clothes with my 5 year old niece, so I could only dream of being able to do something as delicate as this. But dream I will, and I will definitely keep admiring Sarah Dennis, who also sells some of her work here.

Swedish Hasbeens A/W 2012/13

Found here.

Since I have pretty much living in my two pairs of Swedish Hasbeens all summer, it feels sad and strange having to go back to my “ordinary” shoes now that autumn is upon us. Once they’re broken in they are truly comfortable, but the ones I’ve got are summer only shoes. Now that the autumn/winter collection is released I am of course coveting them all, as per usual with every new season. They are however not within my price range, so I will have to sit back and wait a year or so until they hopefully have another garage sale somewhere. Looking is free though!

Joshua Yeldham’s awesome art

Australian artist Joshua Yeldham blows my mind with his super detailed and insanely beautiful paintings. I love the Aboriginal and Japanese influences, and I would very much like to stand in front of each and everyone of them and just stare at them for hours. One can but hope for a Swedish exhibition in the future, any curator out there that reads this blog perhaps? I would seriously owe you, thanks.

vintage autumn leaves from Etsy

Found here.

I love leaves in every shape and form, and decided to make a little vintage leaves selection from Etsy. I do actually have quite a few vintage leaves items already, both clothing and jewellery, maybe I should take the time to put together a post about that one day during fall. I do not however have any leave bookends, and I would love to get my hands on these for sure. So beautiful.

Nordic Design Collective goodies

Found here.

I am coveting any and all of these beautiful items from online store Nordic Design Collective, among other things. Of course there is always need for another warm and cozy blanket when winter hits us, cushion covers and rugs are two of those things I always look at and want new, and those necklaces are just covetable!
