Ryan Pickart is an American painter and artist, making awesome Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele inspired portraits of ladies. Since both Schiele and Klimt are two of my all time biggest art favorites I just adore them. Because although Pickart is clearly inspired by these artists, there is something unmistakedly modern about them. As so many times before, I owe thanks to Miss Moss for making me find this. And I know I’m not the first one to reblog about it either, I’ve seen them in quite a few places in the last weeks.
