beautiful book covers from Novellix
Novellix is a small Swedish publisher only publishing short stories in a very nice small book format. They publish them in groups of four, using a new designer every time, which is a really good idea on paper but so far they have really managed to impress me. And I go by Penguin Classics standard, so I am not too easily impressed, I might add. These first four are designed by Teresa & David, and the other four by Lina Ekstrand.

Bric a Brac spring 2013
As usual Swedish design brand Bric a Brac makes amazing photo shoots for their new catalogue, with lots of dreamy outfits. For some reason they don’t seem to stock their webshop with all items though, but maybe it will be re-stocked during the season. Their outlet section also has some super nice finds, if you care to look.

Sarah Burwash’s amazing art
Found an amazingly talented Canadian artist via Pinterest the other day: Sarah Burwash. I love her pale colour scale, the old fashioned clothes, the intricate details and landscapes, that in more than one way reminds me of Sweden. And those animal prints are just to die for!
All pictures belong to Sarah Burwash.

bold floral inspiration from Etsy
Found here. |
For today’s Etsy treasure hunt I felt like big, bold, colourful floral vintage dresses! So here we go: I can’t wait for summer to be here when at least there’s the possibility of being invited to a garden coctail party, or just getting dressed up for a stroll in the nearest park.

Studio Muti’s gorgeous graphics
Studio Muti is a design studio based in Cape Town, run by illustrators Clinton Campbell and Miné Jonker. I really love their work, especially how they work with typography as a part of the illustrations. That is truly my cup of tea when it comes to design.
