Gracia Lam’s wondrous world of illustration

Artist Gracia Lam was born in Hongkong, but now lives in Canada. Her illustrations are spectacularly good. They may at first glance seem rather simple, but keeps growing right in front of your eyes. That is good art, in my humble opinion. Thanks to Wolf Eyebrows for making me find her, I owe you one (or more really, it is a blog with very good taste).

Kajsa Nilsson’s imaginative illustrations

Swedish illustrator and graphic designer Kajsa Nilsson has since graduating from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts been freelancing, and these beautiful examples of her brilliance are a mix of commissioned and private pieces. I really love her style, and shall keep my eyes on her from now on for sure.

Maira Kalman’s awesome art and illustration

I really love the colourful and naïve style of Israelian born American artist Maira Kalman. She has among other things written and illustrated 13 children’s books, and been a frequent contributor to The New Yorker. Just take a brief look here, head on over to see more loveliness at her website, and have a wonderful weekend everyone! I know I will with summer having completely taken over Stockholm in the best sense, and having a couple of bottles of both prosecco and rosé being chilled in the fridge!

Jumperfabriken autumn 2012

Am loving the sneak peak pictures from Jumperfabriken’s autumn news, very tempting indeed with the 60’s inspiration kept intact in both clothes and styling. Think the striped dress is my favorite!
